Getting Started

If you would like to enroll in a course you must first register on Illustratorworld.com. If you are already a registered member of Illustratorworld.com you can simply log in on Illustrator Courses home page with the same username and password you use on the main site.

Once you're logged in you can enroll in any course, lesson or module you wish.

Taking a Class

You can complete the course at your own leisure. Part of the benefits of online learning is that you can set your own schedule. However, be aware that if you purchase a course with a tutor, the tutor assistance is for one month only. Therefore, if you purchase a course with a tutor, you should arrange your schedule such that you can complete the course within one month from the date you enroll.

If you have purchased the course with a tutor, you will be expected to hand in exercises and projects to your tutor as outlined in each course.

Modules include a number of video clips. While we've managed to keep them short to improve streaming efficiency, it is recommended that you do not take the class unless you have high speed connection to the Internet (ISDN or better)!

A Word About Pricing

Courses are comprised oflessons. Lessons are made up of modules. We realize that Illustratorworld.com members vary greatly in ability, experience and knowledge of and with Adobe Illustrator. Therefore we have structured our online courseware such that it is not necessary to purchase an entire course. It is of course most economical if you purchase an entire course. But if you wish you can buy just a lesson in a course, or just a module within a lesson. Again, the price of an individual module is more than if your were to buy the module as part of the complete lesson. The price of a single lesson is more expensive than the price for that same lesson if you purchased it as part of the entire course.

If you compare our prices to other online courses or DVDs for Illustrator you'll find that our prices are competitive if not cheaper than most.

In addition you can choose to purchase tutor services if you are buying an entire course. Your tutor (an IAVAP member) will be assigned to you. You can ask questions related to the course you are taking (via e-mail) as well as receive professional feedback, comments and critique for your module, lesson and course projects.
