About Illustrator classes and courses are written by working creative professionals with years of experience in illustration and design. Many courses, like Project and Short Courses therefore, include creative techniques as much as technical skills with Adobe Illustrator. Our instructors provide insight and tips that come with years of experience in the creative field. All course and class contributors are IAVAP members. Currently the primary course instructor and writer is Todd Macadangdang, the Director and founder of Illustratorworld.com. Courses are written in an easy and relaxed manner, and include video clips as well as other visual aides to help our students. To help our students improve as much as possible, we offer tutor help as well as courses that focus on developing creative and artistic skills outside of Adobe Illustrator. Why Offer Courses on Illustratorworld.com Several reasons. First, we have many members that submit vector artwork that is not approved for posting in the main gallery. Time and again we explain that on the main site we wish to display only artwork that displays a high level of technical, artistic and design skill. Often times our explanations of why an image is not approved is not sufficient enough to help our members reach the high level of technical and artistic skill we require of main gallery vector art. Therefore we've created our classes to help both hobbyists and students attain a higher level of artistic and technical skills. Professionals also find our courses very helpful. Our courses help professionals catch up with new features or features they are not familiar with. The second reason we're offering these courses is that many of our members and visitors have asked for them. |
