Thank you for your kind words. Every time I start a work I'm afraid. After setting up a photo it may be up to two weeks before i get started, I just keep looking at it until I feel I must try.

Well, it is a little of both. Usually a section is started with a box consisting of a color that stands out from the one that will be used and then turned into a gradient mesh. From there it is a matter of creating the mesh to take on the shape of the item being worked on adding more points into the mesh only to capture the different changes is color.
