Description
The 1930's saw a lot of advances in "Attack" aircraft. The Glenn Curtiss Company was at the forefront of the attack or fighter bomber type. The A-8 Shrike was one in a series of several attack aircraft by Curtiss to carry the name Shrike and in my opinion one of the more beautiful. Later models would have radial engines. This Shrike, #60 was assigned to the 13th Attack Squadron with 3rd Attack Group in Texas.
