Most of the work represented here is personal art I've created using skills honed over the years as a graphic designer, but unrestrained by any corporate demands. Most of my work is tinged with a hint of irreverence. Woot!

Description Tried to have some fun with colors and patterns. The drips and drops were scanned from actual drips and drops that I made with acrylics and then exported as paths from Photoshop to Illustrator. Vectors are so precise that I try to take advantage of every opportunity to introduce imperfections to add a little bit of texture and depth. Each of the main characters (in dark brown) has been distressed in some way, either with splatter or sketchy pencil strokes. Even the skull and crossbones was distorted a little by simply adding points to the outline and tweaking the new segments. Hand tracing with the pen tool always helps to add imperfect line widths as well.
