I am a Mac user first and foremost. I studied fine art till A levels but did not pursue it any further. I however learned to use Macs in 1994 whilst at university and began learning most of the applications that the university had of which Photoshop and Freehand became my favourites though later on I changed to Adobe Illustrator. I enjoy the power of Illustrator and the endless possibilities it offers
Audi R8
Description Audi R8: Back after some time; This is all designed in illustrator CS3. I used a mixture of techniques that I have learned from my other works. I wanted a more artistic- pencil-like feel to this car. I used my favourite tool the GMesh to get the colour and shading in place and then used a brush to create the pencil outlines. I reduced the opacity of some of the pencil layers and changed the modes of the layers. My intention was to achieve a drawing or draft situation of a car design in progress. The tires have cubic drawings of the parts to illustrate that someone else is responsible for the tire design... any way thats that.

I like Volvo R8 much much more than any F430 206 or Enzo Ferrari! Much more practical, durable, good-looking and just plain cool! ...Very nice industry concept style to this rendering!
