Very nice pen work. It looks like it could have been made directly from scratch board. I'm curious how you were able to create such fine line work?

many thanks. i dunno what it's called in english, but i guess "combined path"(?) at first i drew the outline, then i drew all the shapes inside of the dog's head. after all shapes were drawn, i chose the option "create combined path". (or is it called pathfinder > exclude overlap?) i am using a german version,...sorry, but i'm sure that you understand how i did this.
