Randy,
Nice work, as always. The hair shadow is an interesting touch. Bravo!

Randy,
I love you work. It is so excellent on many level, but I think I like it most for the realism you achieve without the use of meshing. Thank you for sharing.

I like to only use simple shapes filled with either solid color or gradient. I have done a bit with the mesh tool, but I enjoy the challenge of creating a similar look without it.

I agree with lilypad, I admire your works because they are done with artistic approaches without reaching the obsession of mesh tool. I am not anti meshing but I see that illustration is about efficiency in rendition, not the skills of tracing and duplication.
I admire you very much.

Ive always been a stickler for trying to not use the gradient mesh, unless it is something I am specifically doing with it. Thanks for looking!!!
