Battlestar Galactica Currency
Description This is a piece of fanart I did because I liked the show so much. I really like doing currency designs. There are so many elements to play with. The Guilloché patterns are especially fun.

Too sweet. I really like the feel of actual currency you got here. All the little details designers they add to money to make them harder to forge. Good work.

Thanks so much. Looking at real currency is really intimidating. The amount of detail is almost overwhelming but I have a fun time trying to emulate it and give it my own flavor.

This is a fascinating subject which you have mastered! This particular piece is beautifully done and close to my heart, as I am an ardent fan of the series!! (pssssst... one humble suggestion - aren't all the corners of their documents cut off at a 45 degree angle for some reason?)

Thanks! I love me some BSG too. Yeah the corners are cut off on everything except their currency. If you look at the scenes when they play poker it's plain old rectangular paper although mine looks nothing like the ones in the series.

True!
Now I too recall seeing that scene and thinking how inconsistent it seemed to be, but you're absolutely right! lol
Thanks Todd. Coming from you that means a lot!
