Did you actually hand-trace these, or did you use LiveTrace/Paint?
I hate to say it, but it's too good to look legit ...

In response to your comment- thanks, I have submitted the linework for Everett for posting/viewing. I do not know how to use Live Trace/Paint. But, I will look at it if it will save time.

No mesh? How did you get such a smooth look? Was it just a matter of gradients, blurs, and transpariences?

These are solid colors varying in size and shape. No gradients or transparencies here. Send me an email and I will send you a jpg of the linework. I have reached my membership posting limit of 10 or I would include the linework as well.
I submitted a file (turbo sprocket) that shows the line work and finished illustration at the same time. But, it was declined as a tracing of a photo. If you want to see it just send an email. I will reply when I can.
FYI- how long does this take? About 15/20 minutes or less. I do not use any currently marketed program or plug-in except for Illustrator.
Any chance of posting an outline version/line work. If this is only taking 15/20 minutes of your time then I have to call "Shenanigans" and say that this has been ran through Live Trace. If you DID do this "by hand" then I have to say it is amazing, and will gladly withdraw my "Shenanigans".

Sorry- my mistake. 15 /20 minutes should read 15/20 hours instead. As it reads I would declare Shenanigans also. I hope this clarifys the time for you.

That helps clarify things a bunch. Nothing Personal, but when I saw it say 15-20 min I was like "no Way". Shenanigans withdrawn and keep up the good work. Peace!
