My personal opinion- tracing from life using vectors is another use of the medium and I enjoy it. I also appreciate what other artist's on this site are creating with vectors. How about posting some of your work too?

I am surprised it has taken this long for your work to be posted. Normally, the IW team is quicker to respond. Maybe your submission files were lost at the point the site went down. Try resubmitting.
