I have been an illustrator for more than 20 years. I currently work at The Sydney Morning Herald and won a Walkley Award in 2002 for illustration. I use a wide variety of styles which cover most applications.
Open Source ideas
Description This illustration was for a feature in Icon about what has come to be known as Open Source thinking where a seed of an idea is planted on the internet and it takes on a life of it's own by people participating in the process. This is the first illo I have done directly on the computer without a scanned pencil rough. I'm loving AICS2's artistic brushes as I used to use Expression v3 for that kind of look.

Very cool stuff. I love the simple line work of the caricatures.

Thanks Donny. I was trying to get the crowd looking almost like a background pattern. The brushes really helped me get the look I was after.
