I am a graphic design professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Before going into teaching full time two years ago I ran a freelance graphic design business for eighteen years in Southern California. I use Illustrator professionally for logo design. The work you see here is done for pleasure rather than profit.

Description This is the first Illustrator piece where I felt I was actually getting the hang of the pen tool and shape to shape blends. It is the oldest of all the work in my gallery.

Great Job.
This would make a great t-shirt.

This is a nice vector graphic that you've got here. I've got to agree with the poster above, this would make a nice bit of merchandise imagery.

Thanks for the input. Back in the day I did freelance work for a silkscreen outfit that specialized in tennis themed t-shirts. It's not something I do anymore, but if I found a company interested in aviation art I might consider it. Welcome to Illustratorworld, I look forward to seeing some of your work.

A nice and simple rendering and a great use of muted colour. Very atmospheric and 'of the period'.
