Was old school, pencils, pens and airbrush, now digital. My speciality is technical stuff for local industry and a national magazine. Been working with Illustrator since v3, but still don't understand most of it! Thank heavens for sites like this with experts and tutorials, or links to the knowledge.
E Type Jaguar
Description A bit of mesh on the body, but mostly gradient fills and blends on the wheels. Don't think I'll bother with wire wheels again!

Thanks Machineman. I thoght I'd go bold on the 'horizon' reflection and it worked! I think the curve of the body helped there. I tried a 'cheat' on the windscreen, and it worked too. The interior is a solid fill and the glass a gradient fill laid over and made about 50% transparent, quick and easy.

Thats funny... The wire wheels may have been a pain in the bum, but man, they sure look great and set the whole car off. Lovely job.

Thanks John (Barry?). I didn't even try to show how the spokes weave between each other, but at this size its not a problem ;-)
