I am a graphic design professor at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Before going into teaching full time two years ago I ran a freelance graphic design business for eighteen years in Southern California. I use Illustrator professionally for logo design. The work you see here is done for pleasure rather than profit.
Digital Mucha
Description I have always loved this Alphonse Mucha poster. I have seen it rendered in vectors several times, but the artists would always draw the holes in the hair and the strands would not flow properly. I drew the strands of hair from beginning to end to preserve the sweep, then used Pathfinder to connect then all together. I changed the type slightly, just for a wink at its vector parentage.

This is beautiful work. I love the hair and the border design.

Thanks, but I can't take credit for the border design, that would be Alphonse Mucha.
