When visiting my personal website please note my illustrations are in the GRAPHICS section... 8+ years as a Professional digital artist/designer/photographer for www.xactware.com. Many illustration projects are created for flash based tutorials (see: www.iskills.com), commemoratives (coins), software (residences) and pure enjoyment (prowler).
With restrictions for web posting (file size, clarity, color, etc) the illustrations must be realistic yet simple. This situation includes the 100+ building types I have created to date.
Meanwhile, the icon & interface projects continue to grow. The Xrayz sets were completed for software releases. When viewing the icons notice the transparencies, subtle reflectivity and points of overlapping lines. It's all in there!
Dog House exploded
Description The dog house illustration was created for a flash based tutorial entitled "building a dog house". Visit: www.iskills.com to view finished work. The dog house was created in studio max to verify dimensions and build instructions. I was given screen captures to base this exploded view on. Each element (board, nails, shingles, plywood, etc)was created on it's own layer to enable me to add individual peices as the tutorial progressed. I really enjoyed the challenge of the project. I wouldn't consider any of my posted art as realistic. But, there is no "technical" or "project" category.
