I am a student/Professional working to get my degree in Graphic Design. I have worked for small companies creating websites, logos and advertising. I am currtently working at Mt. San Antonio College Student Newspaper helping students learn the technical and asthetics in newspaper layout design. My only hope is to help make a difference in the visual arts.
Lady of the Twilight
Description This is my fourth and final entry in the Vector Ping Pong Tournament for all the marbles. This was very difficult round for me. After working on it all sunday the file got corrupted and I lost my ai file!
Fortunalty I had made a high res tiff file before the disaster, so i continued to build on top of that in illustrator. Some photoshop was needed to fix the tiff file but i didn't draw anything.
The shapes are hard to find but they are in there. The first is the cresent and can be found on the top of the twilight scepter. The "cloud" shapes is the ladies belt. The weird curved shape is used twice as the outline for the twilight lanturn on the end of the dress. And the final shape is hard to find...do you see it? It's actually the windows in the wall!
I also want to bitch about the bricks in the wall, 90 percent vector with a little bit texture to give a spotty tonal range. The wall took at least 8 hours of labor! It was not fun at all. I'm not particullary fond of this image it could be have been a lot more but oh well. I'm just glad its over. Hope ya'll enjoy it lol
